DIN7981 screws conform to the German standard and are designed as cross slot pan head self-tapping screws, primarily used for securing connections of thin metal plates or non-metallic materials. The screw features a semi-circular disc head and is available with cross grooves, which can be of the H-shape or Z-shape variety.
